Introduction
Welcome to Data 101, your gateway to advancing your data analytics and spreadsheet skills! Whether you're a beginner looking to build a strong foundation or an experienced professional aiming to enhance your efficiency, this course will give you the essential tools to work smarter with data

Lookups
Lookups are essential when working with large datasets in Google Sheets. They allow you to search for specific values and retrieve related data quickly and efficiently. In this lesson, we’ll cover: ✅ VLOOKUP – Searches for a value vertically in a table and returns a matching result. ✅ XLOOKUP – A more flexible alternative that searches in any direction and eliminates common VLOOKUP limitations. Mastering Lookups will save you time, reduce errors, and make data retrieval effortless. Let’s get started!"

XLOOKUP
XLOOKUP is a powerful function in Google Sheets and Excel that simplifies searching for values within a dataset. It replaces VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP, offering more flexibility and efficiency. Unlike VLOOKUP, which requires a fixed column index, XLOOKUP allows direct searching in both directions and returns results from any column or row. With XLOOKUP, users can retrieve exact matches, handle missing values, perform wildcard searches, and search in reverse order. It improves data accuracy and efficiency, making it an essential tool for leaders and analysts working with large datasets. This lesson will cover the syntax, key features, and real-world applications of XLOOKUP, helping learners master advanced lookup techniques for data analysis and decision-making.
